Set up your workspace
A workspace is where your team collaborates on strategy. Each workspace belongs to an organization and contains the strategies, registers, and data your team works with.
To set up your workspace:
Give your workspace a name (this also generates a unique URL slug) Invite team members by email and assign roles — Admin for full control, or Member for standard access Add workspace registers to organize your strategic elements You can create multiple workspaces for different teams, business units, or strategic initiatives. See the Workspaces section for detailed guidance.
Understand the Skhema Method
The Skhema Method is a prescriptive framework for formulating business strategy. It breaks strategy development into five interconnected components:
Business Diagnosis — Identify key challenges, gather supporting facts, and assess their associated impact on your organization Method & Positioning — Define your guiding policy, analyze competitor moves, set your strategic scope, and acknowledge constraints Portfolio of Initiatives — Explore solution alternatives, form assumptions and hypotheses, design experiments, plan actions, and detail investment and estimates Measures — Establish baselines, set target outcomes, and define performance variables to track progress Support Structures — Identify required capabilities, management systems, and guiding principles Each component is made up of elements that can be linked across components. For example, a supporting fact can relate to multiple key challenges, creating a connected thread that illustrates your decision-making process. See The Skhema Method section for a deep dive into each component.
